Who We Are

Kaye Implementation & Evaluation was established by Dr. Sarah Kaye in 2012 to conduct research and evaluation in the service of children, youth, and families. We are a growing team of dedicated professionals with experience and expertise in social service and social science. Our team is committed to advancing practice and helping organizations and communities to achieve their goals through continuous quality improvement and high-quality evaluation of implementation and outcomes.

What We Do

We partner with child, youth, and family serving organizations using a collaborative approach that includes:

  • Building trust through transparency and meaningful engagement

  • Listening to our partners and their stakeholders to understand context and organizational goals

  • Identifying rigorous and innovative approaches and methods that can meet our partners’ needs

  • Discussing strategies and making decisions together about how best to answer evaluation questions and achieve evaluation goals

  • Seeking and valuing diverse experience, perspectives, and expertise

  • Working alongside our partners throughout study design, execution, interpretation of findings, and strategic dissemination to ensure that all evaluation activities are informed by practice and experience

  • Leveraging principles from implementation science, continuous quality improvement, human-centered design, capacity building, and culturally responsive equitable evaluation

Our Partners

Kaye Implementation & Evaluation partners with agencies and organizations that reflect diverse communities across the country. Our partners want to use research and data to serve children, youth, and families. We help our partners to explore needs and identify solutions, build evidence about their intervention models, and/or gather data about how to improve implementation and outcomes. Partners have included: federal, state and local government agencies; universities; national and local foundations; organizations that provide training and consultation to advance evidence-informed or promising practices; and community-based child and family serving agencies.

Our Specialties

Kaye Implementation & Evaluation's current and most recent projects evaluate programs designed to prevent child maltreatment, keep families safe and together, promote kinship care and reunification, and support youth transitioning from foster care. We specialize in both assisting our partners to use evaluation and data to improve their practices and helping them prepare for and complete rigorous experimental and quasi-experimental studies of their programs, consistent with requirements of the Family First Prevention Services Act and standards of the Prevention Services Clearinghouse.
